President’s Message

Wascana Rhythmic Gymnastics Club had a successful first year in our new facility. The WRGC athletes competed in a number of competitions in Saskatchewan, British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario and also participated in the Western Canadian Championships hosted in Regina. Our athletes represented the club in exemplary fashion both with results and sportsmanship.

We have a number of new board members for the 2017-18 season. I would like to thank all of the past board members for their dedication and service to the club. Thank you to all the parents who contribute to the success of our club. I would like to welcome the new board members and parents to our club. WRGC will continue to offer a wide range of programming and options for our athletes. Our competitive program has grown and therefore we will be advertising for an additional competitive coach and have hired two new non-competitive coaches.

WRGC is excited to be organizing the Aspire, Perspire, Inspire Health and Wellness Conference this October 2017. This conference will provide opportunities for physical, mental and emotional education and development for female athletes. The wellness conference supports our clubs goals of developing strong females who can develop physical skills while feeling confident in who they are as individuals. This event will also serve as a fundraiser for our club.

The success of the club depends upon the participation and collaboration between athlete coaches and parents. I encourage all families to get involved in the many volunteer opportunities WRGC has to offer. Together we will make our club stronger and more successful. I wish the best of luck to our WRGC athletes for the 2017-2018 year. I look forward to working with you in my new role as WRGC Board President.

Sincerely,

Troy Neiszner

President WRGC
