Adeena Cox

Adeena started rhythmic gymnastics at the age of 5 and quickly developed a love for the sport. She has trained as a provincial level athlete under Julie Levasseur and current head coach Anya Patlosova. As a rhythmic gymnast, Adeena has competed at various competitions across Western Canada including Provincial and Western Championships. She has also attended 2 World Gymnaestradas representing Canada as an athlete in Lausanne, SUI in 2011 and Helsinki, FIN in 2015. In her final year as a competitive rhythmic gymnastics athlete, Adeena placed 2nd all-around at Western Regional Championships, right here in Regina.

 

Adeena is a certified NCCP Level 2 Coach and works primarily with the Level A provincial athletes.

 

Currently, Adeena is working towards a degree in Sport and Recreation Management at the University of Regina. In addition to her schoolwork and coaching, she continues to participate in athletics as a member of the U of R Dance Team and a member of Team Saskatchewan heading to Canadian Gymnaestrada in 2018 and World Gymnaestrada in 2019.
